IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that the attached report is hereby ACKNOWLEDGED. Westman , County Counsel Re: Kirker Pass Waste ManagementLandfill Applicant ' s 2-18-88 Letter On 3-1 -88 the Board of Supervisors received a letter dated 2- 18-88 from Mr. Jonathan Cohen , attorney for the Kirker Pass Waste Management Landfill . Jn Mr. Cohen ' s 2-18-88 letter he comments on various letters which the Board received from attorneys .and city officials of Pittsburg and Concord . The 2-18-88 letter responds to- the cities ' letters and in its, concluding paragraph asks the Board to approve the pending Kirker Pass- Waste Management Landfill application : The Board ' s 3-1 -88 order asked this office and the Community Development Department to recommend action concerning Mr. Cohen ' s 2-18-88 letter . Should the Board of Supervisors determine to calendar the Kirker Pass Waste Management Landfill site ap_pi-.ica- tion before it for furt.h„er- consideration , this office and the Community Development Department recommend that at that time the Board consider the contents of Mr. Cohen ' s 2-18-88 letter .
