Project. No. 7566-6D8442 Task No. ACO Account No. 3540
SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATIONS) & BACKGROUND AND
JUSTIFICATION
I. Recommended Action:
ACCEPT and APPROVE the Indenture dated March 1, 1988 from
Southern Pacific Transportation Company to the Contra Costa
County Flood Control and Water Conservation District and
AUTHORIZE Chief Engineer to execute said docment on behalf of
the District.
APPROVE payment of $415. 00 for said property rights and
AUTHORIZE the Auditor-Controller to issue a check in said
amount payable to Southern Pacific Transportation Company,
to be forwarded to the Real Property Division for delivery.
DIRECT the Real Property Division to have the above
referenced Indenture recorded in the office of the County
Recorder.

II. Financial Impact:
Payment of $415.00 from Contra Costa County Flood Control and
Water Conservation District Drainage Area 56 funds.
III. Reasons for Recommendations:
These property rights are required for the Drainage Area 56
Lindsey Basin project in accordance with approved plans and
specifications.
IV. Consequences of Negative Action:
The project will not have sufficient land rights to allow
construction in accordance with the approved plans and
specifications.
