HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 03151988 - 1.8 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Resolution on March 15, 1988 -by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Powers , Fanden, McPeak and Torlakson NOES: None ABSENT: Supervisor Schroder ABSTAIN: None RESOLUTION NO. 88/117 SUBJECT: Approval of the Final Map and Subdivision Agreement for Subdivision 6703 , Alamo Area. The following documents were presented for Board approval this date: The Final Map of Subdivision 6703 , property located in the Alamo area, said map having been certified by the proper officials. Said map was accompanied by: I. A Subdivision Agreement for "on-site subdivision storm drainage improvements" with Seal Beach Business Center, Inc. , subdivider, whereby said subdivider agrees to complete all improvements as required in said Subdivision Agreement within one year from the date of said agreement. Said agreement was accompanied by Security to guarantee the completion of road and drainage improvements as required by Title 9 of the County Ordinance Code, as follows: A. Cash deposit (Auditor's Deposit Permit No. 135445, dated January 29, 1988) in the amount of $1, 752 made by Richland Development Corporation. B. Additional security in the form of a letter of credit dated February 24, 1988, issued by Cathay Bank, (Letter of Credit No. CBS-88/0106-SBB) with Seal Beach Business Center, Inc. as principal, in the amount of $173 ,476 for faithful performance and $87, 614 for labor and materials. II. A Subdivision Agreement for "on-site improvements other than storm drainage" with Seal Beach Business Center, Inc. , subdivider, whereby said subdivider agrees to complete all improvements as required in said Subdivision Agreement within one year from the date of said agreement. Said agreement was accompanied by security to guarantee the completion of road and drainage improvements as required by Title 9 of the County Ordinance Code, as follows: A. Cash deposit (Auditor's Deposit Permit No. 135445, dated January 29, 1988) in the amount of $2 , 206 made by Richland Development Corporation. RESOLUTION NO. B. Additional security in the form of a letter of credit dated February 24, 1988, issued by Cathay Bank, (Letter of Credit No. CBS-88/0104-SBB) with Seal Beach Business Center, Inc. as principal, in the amount of $218, 366 for faithful performance and $110, 286 for labor and materials. III. A Subdivision Agreement for "work on Stone Valley Road at Roundhill Drive" with Seal Beach Business Center, Inc. , subdivider, whereby said subdivider agrees to complete all improvements as required in said Subdivision Agreement within one year from the date of said agreement. Said document was accompanied by security to guarantee the completion of road and drainage improvements as required by Title 9 of the County Ordinance Code, as follows: A. Cash deposit (Auditor's Deposit Permit No. 135445, dated January 29, 1988) in the amount of $1, 073 made by Richland Development Corporation. B. Additional security in the form of a letter of credit dated February 24, 1988, issued by Cathay Bank, (Letter of Credit No. CBS-88/0105-SBB) with Seal Beach Business Center, Inc. as principal, in the amount of $106,227 for faithful performance and $53, 650 for labor and materials. IV. A Subdivision Agreement for "off-site storm drainage improvements" with Seal Beach Business Center, Inc. , subdivider, whereby said subdivider agrees to complete all improvements as required in said Subdivision Agreement within one year from the date of said agreement. Said document was accompanied by security to guarantee the completion of road and drainage improvements as required by Title 9 of the County Ordinance Code, as follows: A. Cash deposit (Auditor' s Deposit Permit No. 135445) , dated January 29, 1988) in the amount of $1, 076 made by Richland Development Corporation. B. Additional security in the form of a letter of credit dated February 24, 1988, issued by Cathay Bank, (Letter of Credit No. CBS-88/0103-SBB) with Seal Beach Business Center, Inc. as principal, in the amount of $106,524 for faithful performance and $53,800 for labor and materials. V. Letter from the County Tax Collector stating that there are no unpaid County taxes heretofore levied on the property included in said map and that the 1987-88 tax lien has been paid in full and the 1988-89 tax lien, which became a lien on the first day of March, 1988, is estimated to be $18, 000. VI. Security to guarantee the payment of taxes as required by Title 9 of the County Ordinance Code in the form of a cash deposit (Auditor's Deposit Permit No. 136685, dated February 29, 1988) made by Richland Development Corporation in the amount of $18, 000 quaranteeing the payment of the estimated tax; RESOLUTION NO. 88/117 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that said subdivision, together with the provisions for its design and improvement, is DETERMINED to be consistent with the County's general and specific plans. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Final Map is APPROVED and this Board does not accept or reject on behalf of the public any of the streets, paths, or easements shown thereon as dedicated to public use.
