The Archaeological Study is part of the environmental
documentation required by the Federal Highway Administration to
secure funding under the federal HES program.
The Transportation Committee will review this matter on March 7,
1988.
IV. CONSEQUENCES OF NEGATIVE ACTION
Failure to approve a Consulting Services Agreement for the study
will result in inadequate environmental documentation and may
result in the loss of funding for construction of the left turn
lane project.
