SUBJECT: Approve Purchase Orders for Utility Relocations,
Lindsey Basin Drainage Area 56, Project No. 7566-6D8462
Specific Request(s) or Recommendation(s) & Background &
Justification
I. RECOMMENDATION
APPROVE issuance of purchase orders in the following amounts for
relocation of facilities in conflict with the Lindsey Detention
Basin Project:
Pacific Gas and Electric $ 30, 000
Chevron Pipelines 35, 000
Southern Pacific Pipe Lines 69, 000
TOTAL $134, 000
II. FINANCIAL IMPACT
Funding for the above relocations is being provided through
drainage fees collected in Drainage Area 56.
III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION/BACKGROUND
The above facilities are in conflict with the drainage
improvements to be constructed under the Lindsey Detention Basin
Project.
IV. CONSEQUENCES OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
Failure to relocate any of these utilities would not allow for
the construction of the Lindsey Basin Project.
