HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 02091988 - 1.1 (2) 1,10A THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Resolution on February 9, 1988 by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Powers , Fanden, McPeak, Torlakson & Schroder NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None RESOLUTION NO. 88/69 I SUBJECT: Approval ' of the Road Improvement Agreement for LUP 2105-84, Bethel Island Area. The following document was presented for Board approval this date for LUP 2105-84, property located in the Bethel Island area. A Road Improvement Agreement with Hilltop Developers, Inc. , developer, whereby said developer agrees to complete all improvements as required in said Road Improvement Agreement within one year from the date of said agreement. Improvements generally consist of improvements to Sugar Barge Road. Said document was accompanied by the following: Security to guarantee the completion of road and drainage improvements as required by Title 9 of the County Ordinance Code, as follows: a. Cash deposit .(Auditor's Deposit Permit No. 134777, dated January 14, 1988) in the amount of $1, 000, made by Hilltop Developers, Inc. b. Additional security in the form of a corporate surety bond dated September 11, 1987, and issued by Developers Insurance Company (Bond No. 951818S) with Hilltop Developers, Inc. as principal, in the amount of $96,200 for faithful performance and $48, 100 for labor and materials. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that said Road Improvement Agreement is APPROVED. Assessor's Parcel No. 030-120-017 and 030-170-026. I The Public Works Director has recommended that he be authorized to execute a Deferred Improvement Agreement with Hilltop Developers, Inc. , as required by the Conditions of Approval for LUPE 2105-84. This agreement would permit the deferment of construction of permanent improvements along Willow Road and Sugar Barge Road (Piper Road extension) in the Bethel Island area.
