BACKGROUND: On May 12, 1987, the Board of Supervisors received a report from the Human Services Advisory Commission on this subject in response to a referral last summer from the Board. The Commission indicated they would like to meet with the Board to discuss the proposed policy in more detail. Our Committee is recommending that the Board set a time for an informal workshop with the Commission, preferably during the lunch hour, to discuss this proposed policy with the Commission.
