RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ADOPT RESOLUTION OF NECESSITY
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County,
RESOLVES THAT:
It intends to adopt a Resolution of Necessity for the
acquisition by eminent domain of real property in the Oakley
area, for road widening purposes, a public improvement, which
property is more particularly described in Appendix "A" attached
hereto.
This Board will meet on July 7, 1987 , at 10: 30 a.m. in
the Board's Chambers, County Administration Building, 651 Pine
Street, Martinez, California, to hear those persons whose
property is to be acquired and whose names and addresses appear
on the last equalized County assessment roll, and to consider the
adoption of the Resolution. The Contra Costa County Real Property
Division is DIRECTED to send the following notice to each such
person by first-class mail:
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ADOPT RESOLUTION OF NECESSITY
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County
declares its intention to adopt a Resolution of Necessity for the
.acquisition by eminent domain of real property in the Oakley
area, for road widening purposes, a public improvement, which
property is more particularly described in Appendix "A" attached
hereto. The Board will meet on July 7, 1987, at 10: 30 a.m. in
the Board's Chambers at 651 Pine Street, Martinez, California, to
consider the adoption of the Resolution. Each person whose
property is to be acquired and whose name and address appears on
the last equalized County assessment roll has the right to appear
at such hearing and be heard. on:
1. Whether the public interest and necessity require
the project; and
2 . Whether the project is planned and located in the
manner that will be most compatible with the
greatest public good and the least private
injury; and
3 . Whether the property sought to be acquired is
necessary for the project; and

4 . Whether the offer of just compensation required
by Section 7267.2 of the Government Code has been
made to the owner of record.

Parcel One (C2ww - Fee)
A portion of that parcel of land described as Parcel One in the deed to
Chao-Yuan Chow, et ux recorded May 21, 1964 in Book 4622 of Official Records
at page 590 records of Contra Costa County, State of California, and as
shown on the Record of Survey filed June 26, 1972 in Book 55 of Licensed
Surveyors Maps at page 12, records of said County lying in the North 1/2 of
the southeast 1/4 of Section 36, Township 2 North, Range 2 East Mount Diablo
Meridian described as follows:
Cc mnencing at the northeast corner of said Chow, et ux parcel (4622 OR 590)
said corner also being located on the center line of Liberty Links Highway
(State Highway 4) at the east 1/4 corner of said Section 36; thence leaving
said corner north 890 28' 22" west 22.50 feet (the bearing north 890 28' 22"
west used for purposes of this description) to the point of beginning for
the herein described parcel of land, said point of beginning being located

Contra Costa County, State of California, lying in the northeast 1/4 of
Section 36, Township 2 North, Range 2 East, Mount Diablo Meridian described
as follows:
Commencing at the southeast corner of said parcel II (8340 OR 689) said
corner also being on the centerline of Liberty Links Highway (State Highway
4) at the east 1/4 corner of said Section 36; thence leaving said corner
along the south line of said Parcel II north 890 28' 22" west 22.50 feet to
the true point of beginning for the herein described parcel, said true point
of beginning, being located on the west line of Liberty Links Highway (State
Highway 4) ; thence leaving said true point of begi.nning .continuing along
said south line north 890 28' 22" west 27.94 feet; thence leaving said line
north 470 25' 15" east 14.44 feet to a point on a line parallel with and
40.00 feet easterly right angle measure from the east line of said northeast

on the parcel map filed February 9, 1978 in Book 63 of Parcel Maps at page
16, records of said County, being the westerly 17.50 feet of the easterly
40.00 feet of said Loo, et al parcel (9508 OR 484) .
Containing an area of 8,663 square feet (0.20 acres) of land, more or less.
Parcel Four (Bolloten, et al - Fee)
A portion of that parcel of land described in the deed to Burnett Bolloten,
et al recorded February 5, 1986 in Book 12731 of Official Records at page
1313 records of Contra Costa County, State of California being the westerly
17.50 feet, of the easterly 40.00 feet, of the southerly 207.79 feet of said
Bolloten, et al parcel (12731 OR 1313) .
