SUBJECT: Lease for Sheriff-Coroner y
SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATION(S) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. Recommended Action: AUTHORIZE the Director of General
Services to EXECUTE, on behalf of the County, a Lease
commencing May 1, 1987, with Louis and Norma Millhollin for
the premises at 2280 Giant Road, San Pablo, for occupancy by
the Sheriff-Coroner, under the terms and conditions more
particularly set forth in said Lease.
DETERMINE that the above project is a Class 1 Categorical
Exemption under the California Environmental Quality Act.
DIRECT the Community Development Department to FILE a
Notice of Exemption with the County Clerk.
II. Financial Impact: Payments required are to come from the
budget of the Sheriff-Coroner.
III. Reasons for Recommendations/Background: Provide office space
as requested by the Sheriff-Coroner. This will be the Bay
Station which is currently operating in the Richmond Work
Furlough Center. The Work Furlough Center is no longer able
to house the Bay Station.
