RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A
PUBLIC STREET OR PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
Pursuant to Chapter 3 , "General Vacation Procedure, " of Part 3
of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code, this Board
declares its intention to vacate the County street commonly known
as Camino Vaqueros and more specifically described in attached
Exhibit "A" . This proposed vacation is generally located in the
area of Byron. A map of the portion to be vacated is on file in
the Public Works Department.
This Board will meet on Tuesday, -June 2, 1987 at 10: 30 a.m. in
its Chambers, Administration Building, 651 Pine Street, Martinez,
California, to hear evidence offered by any interested party as
to whether this is unnecessary for present or prospective public
use.
This Board DIRECTS the Clerk to have a copy of this resolution
of intention published in a newspaper of general circulation
published and circulated in this County, which is selected as the
newspaper most likely to give notice to persons interested in the
proposed vacation, for at least two successive weeks before the
hearing in accordance with Streets and Highways Code, Sections
8320 and 8322 . Said notice shall be posted conspicuously along
the line of this proposed vacation at least two weeks before the
hearing, in accordance with Streets and Highways Code, Section
8323 .

Camino Vaqueros Road

A portion of that road located within Contra Costa County California, known as
Camino Vaqueros, lying within Section 7 TIS, R3E, NQM, being a portion of that
certain road established by the Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County
November 3, 1879 upon petition (29A) of S.C. Gallager proceeding in "Road
Record Book" page 280, said Camino Vaqueros is bounded on the west by Vasco
Road and on the east by a line with a bearing of south 83' 49" 31" west, said
line originates from a point on the -westerly line of Parcel "B", as said
Parcel of land is shown on the map of M.S. No. 119-71 filed October 2, 1972 in
Book 24 of Parcel SapsIat page 33, records of Contra Costa County; said point
being southerly along the arc of a curve with a radius of 370.00 feet through
a central angle of 1311 So" 13", a distance of 90.00 feet from the northerly
line of said Parcel "B" (24 FM 33) .
RESERVING THEREFROM: Pursuant to the provisions of Section 8340 of the
Streets and Highways Code, the easement and right at any time, or from time
to time, to construct, enlarge, maintain, operate, replace, remove, and
renew those existing and in place utilities, as of the date of recording
this instrument, in, upon, over and across any highway or part thereof
proposed to be abandoned, including access to protect the property from all
hazards in, upon, and over the area herein before described to be abandoned.
