County Service Area L-100 ) RESOLUTION NO. 87/278

This resolution is adopted pursuant to the Cortese-Knox Act
(Gov. C. §§ 56000-57550 ) .
This proposal is for an annexation of the subject territory
to County Service Area L-100 and the purpose of the proposed
change of organization is to allow efficient provision of ' lighting
service to, the subject territory. The exterior boundaries of the
subject territory are as described in Exhibit A hereto.
The terms and conditions for the proposal, as specified by
the Local Agency Formation Commission, are that:
The boundaries of the annexation be as described in Exhibit A.
The affected territory will be taxed for any existing bonded
indebtedness of County Service Area L-100. The regular county
assessment roll will be used for the collection of taxes and
assessments in the subject territory.
After public hearing on this proposal, this Board hereby
approves and orders this proposal, subject to the aforestated
terms and conditions .
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of
a resolution entered on the minutes of said Board of Supervisors on the date
aforesaid.

EXHIBIT A
The land referred to herein is situated in the County of Contra Costa, State of
California also being a portion of the Rancho Las Juntas, described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection point of the southern right of way of Walden Road
and the eastern right of way line of the Southern Pacific Railroad, said point
also being on the existing boundary line of the City of Walnut Creek, thence
along said city boundary in a westerly direction to the centerline of Oak Road,
thence continuing along said city boundary and the centerline of Oak Road North
7033'East, 626.27 feet more or less to' a point on the existing boundary line of
County Service Area L-100, thence leaving said city boundary and the centerline
of Oak Road along the boundary of said C.S.A. L-100 South 820271 East, 30.0
feet, to the eastern right of way line of Oak Rd. said point also being the most
westerly corner of lot 14 as shown on Subdivision 2377 as recorded in Book 63 of
Subdivisions at page 41, on May 9, 1956 Official records of Contra Costa County;
thence continuing along said C.S.A. L-100 boundary and the boundary of
Subdivision 2377 the following courses; along the arc of a curve to the right
with a radius of 220 feet an arc distance of 169.08 feet; North 89043, East,
205.96 feet; thence South 70331 West, 131.07 feet; thence South 89003,391, East,
24.0 feet thence South 4503113911 East, 72.59 feet; thence South 890031391, East,
279.49 feet to the westerly right of way line of the Southern Pacific Railroad,
thence along said line North 7033'East, 530.95 feet; thence leaving said right
of way line and the boundary of C.S.A. L-100 along the easterly extension of the
Northern line of Subdivision 2377 (M.B. 63-41) North 890431 East to the easterly
right of way line of the Southern Pacific Railroad; thence along said right of
way line South 70331 West to the point of beginning.
Containing an area of 10.24 acres more or less.
