SUBJECT : Notification of Hearing to Consider the Conversion of
Storm Drainage District Zone 22 into Flood Control
Drainage Area 22 ,. Concord and Walnut Creek Area .

The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County , as the
governing; board of the Contra Costa County Flood Control and
Water Conservation District , and the Contra Costa County Storm
Drainage District , RESOLVES THAT :
The Contra Costa County Flood Control and Water Conservation
District 'Act , hereinafter referred to as Act , provides authority
for said governing board to convert Contra Costa County Storm
Drainage District Drainage Zones into Drainage Areas .
This Board has before it for consideration the proposed
conversion of Contra Costa County Storm Drainage District Zone 22
(hereinafter Zone 22 ) into Contra Costa County Flood Control and
Water Conservation District Drainage Area 22 ( hereinafter
Drainage .;Area 22 ) , consisting of that real property as described
in Exhibit " A" , attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference .
This! Board also has before it the Engineer' s Report and the
Drainage;, Plan entitled " Drainage Area 22 , Boundary Map and
Drainage ;Plan" , dated April , 1987 , proposed to be instituted for
Drainage; Area 22 . Said documents , which show the general
location :of said Drainage Area 22 , are on file with , and may be
examined 'at , the Office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors ,
Administration Building , Martinez , California .
It is proposed that Zone 22 be converted into Drainage Area
22 , and t'.hat a drainage p-lan be instituted therefor .
At 10 : 30 a .m . on June 23 , 1987 , in the Chambers of the Board
of Supervisors , Administration Building , Martinez , California ,
this Board will conduct a public hearing on the proposed conver-
sion of Zone 22 into Drainage Area 22 , the institution of the
aforesaid drainage plan for the Drainage Area . At said hearing ,
this Board will hear and pass upon any and all written or oral
objections to the conversion of Zone 22 into Drainage Area 22 ,
and the institution of the drainage plan . Upon conclusion of the
hearing the Board may abandon the proposed conversion or proceed
with the same .
The ' Clerk of the Board is DIRECTED to publish a Notice of
the Hearing , pursuant to Government Code 6066 , once a week for
two ( 2 ) successive weeks , prior to the hearing , in the " Contra
Costa Times" , a newspaper of general circulation , circulated in
the area ' proposed to be converted into said Drainage Area 22 .

less than twenty (20) days .
The exterior boundaries of said Drainage Area 22 include
lands within the cities of Concord and Walnut Creek . The Clerk

cities a copy of this Resolution at least twenty ( 20) days before
the above noted hearing .

Contra Costa County, California. Real property lying within the cities of
Concord and Walnut Creek, described as follows:
Beginning at the centerline intersection of Oak Grove Road and Treat
Boulevard; thence along the centerline of Oak Grove Road, Northwesterly
2,115 feet, more or less, to the southwesterly prolongation of the southeast
line ,of Ygnacio Valley Park deeded to the City of Concord and recorded May
25, 1967 in Volume 5376 at page 100; thence along said prolongation and
southeast line, North 580 03' East 404.6 feet and along the arc of a tangent
