SUBJECT: Amendment to Revenue Lease with Early Childhood Mental
Health Program, George Miller, Jr. Memorial Center West
Specific Request(s) or Recommendation(s) & Background &
Justification
I. Recommended Action: AUTHORIZE the Director of General
Services to EXECUTE, on behalf of the County, an
Amendment to Lease with Early Childhood Mental Health
Program for the premises at George Miller, Jr. Memorial
Center West- to omit clerical space in the Administration
Building from the leased premises and to reduce the rent
accordingly.
II. Financial Impact: Revenues to the Health Services
Department will decrease by approximately $576 per year.
III. Reasons for Recommendations/Background: This desk space
is not needed by the tenant and can be used by the
County, so the change benefits both parties.

SUBJECT: Amendment to Lease - 2401 Stanwell Drive, Concord -
Social Service Department
Specific Request(s) or Recommendation(s) & Background &
Justification
I. Recommended Action: AUTHORIZE the Director of General
Services to EXECUTE, on behalf of the County, an Amend-
ment to the Lease with Buchanan Oaks Partners for the
premises at 2401 Stanwell Drive, Concord, Buildings A, B,
and Suite 400 of Building D, to provide for inclusion of
certain additional services requested by the County as
part of the remodeling costs, under the terms and condi-
tions more particularly set forth in said Amendment.
II. Financial Impact: This amendment does not increase the
cost limits for remodeling set forth in the Lease.
Capital Project WH148 has been funded for this project.
III. Reasons for Recommendations/Background: Additional
architectural services were required beyond the original
scope of the project as remodeling of the premises
progressed. This amendment allows the County to include
their cost with the other project costs.
