HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 03031987 - T.6 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Order on March 3 , 1987 by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Powers, Fanden, Torlakson and Schroder NOES: None ABSENT: Supervisor McPeak ABSTAIN: None ---------- -------- SUBJECT: Hearing on Recommendation of the Contra Costa County Planning Commission on the Application by Bryan & Murphy Associates and John DeVincenzi, Jr. ( 2694-RZ) to Rezone Land in the Walnut Creek area. The Board on February 10, 1987 continued to this date the hearing on the recommendation of the Contra Costa County Planning Commission with respect to the application by Bryan & Murphy Associates (applicants) and John DeVincenzi, Jr. (owner) to rezone 1. 95 acres from Single Family Residential District (R-20) to Single Family Residential District (R-15) in the Walnut Creek area. Karl Wandry, Deputy Director of Community Development, described the property site and advised that a Negative Declaration of Environmental significance was posted for this project. The Vice-Chairman opened the public hearing and no one appeared in opposition. The Vice-Chairman closed the public hearing. The Board considered the matter. IT IS ORDERED that rezoning application 2694-RZ is APPROVED as recommended by the County Planning Commission and the Board hereby adopts the Planning Commission' s reasons as set forth in its Resolution No. 2-1987 as its determinations for this decision. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that Ordinance No. 87-14 giving effect to the aforesaid rezoning is INTRODUCED, reading waived and March 17, 1987 is set for the adoption of same. 1 hereby certify that this Is a true and correct copy of 6n adion taken and entered on the minutes of the Board of Supervisors on the date shown.
