SUBJECT: Hearing with Respect to Proposed Ordinance Creating a New
Zoning Overlay District Added to the Existing Zoning of
the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe, Southern Pacific, Union
Pacific and Bay Point and Clayton Railroad Corridors
(2685-RZ) in 'the Unincorporated Area.
The Clerk heretofore noticed March 24, 1987 as the time for
hearing on the recommendation of the Contra Costa County Planning
Commission with respect to a proposed ordinance which creates a new
zoning overlay district added to the existing zoning of the
Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe, Southern Pacific, Union Pacific, Bay
Point and Clayton Railroad corridors. The two steps to be con-
sidered will be the adoption of the proposed Railroad Corridor
Combining District language amending the County Zoning Ordinance and
applying the new zoning overlay district to the properties along the
four railroad corridors referred to above (2685-RZ) generally located
within the right-of-way of the Southern Pacific; Atchison, Topeka &
Santa Fe; Sacramento Northern (Union Pacific) ; and Bay Point and
Clayton Railroad Corridors in the unincorporated area of Contra
Costa County.
IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that the hearing on the above
matter is CONTINUED to April 7 , 1987 at 3 :00 p.m.
