Said land described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, was previously subject to a street, highway or public service easement. At the time the street was vacated an excess easement was reserved to the County for rapid transit purposes. This Board hereby DETERMINES that said easement is not needed by the .County. This Board hereby APPROVES the conveyance of said property to Contra Costa County Redevelopment Agency and AUTHORIZES the Chair to sign a Quitclaim Deed on behalf of the County. The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause said deed to be delivered to grantee. The Board has previously determined (Resolution 85/747, dated December 17, 1985) that the project is exempt from Environmental Impact Report requirements as a categorical exemption under County Guidelines and the Public Works Director has filed a Notice of Exemption with the County Clerk.
