HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 03241987 - 1.59 1 1 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Resolution on March 24, 1987, by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Powers , Fanden, Schroder, Torlakson & McPeak NOES: None ABSENT: None RESOLUTION NO. 87/87154 Subject: Conveyance of County Surplus Real Property to Contra Costa County Redevelopment Agency Pleasant Hill Area Project No. W.O. 1746 The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: On December 17, 1985, the Board adopted Resolution No. 85/747 which vacated a portion of Oak Court. Said land described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, was previously subject to a street, highway or public service easement. At the time the street was vacated an excess easement was reserved to the County for rapid transit purposes. This Board hereby DETERMINES that said easement is not needed by the .County. This Board hereby APPROVES the conveyance of said property to Contra Costa County Redevelopment Agency and AUTHORIZES the Chair to sign a Quitclaim Deed on behalf of the County. The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause said deed to be delivered to grantee. The Board has previously determined (Resolution 85/747, dated December 17, 1985) that the project is exempt from Environmental Impact Report requirements as a categorical exemption under County Guidelines and the Public Works Director has filed a Notice of Exemption with the County Clerk. O. No. 1746 Pleasant Hill Area The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: On March 17, 1987, the Board adopted Resolution No. 87/ 151 which vacated a portion of Oak Court. This Board hereby DETERMINES that said land, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, was previously subject to a street, highway or public service easement, and is no longer needed by the public. Pursuant to Streets and Highways Code Section 8355, the Board hereby APPROVES the conveyance of said property to the Contra Costa County Redevelopment Agency and AUTHORIZES the Chair to sign a Quitclaim Deed on behalf of the County. The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause said deed to be delivered to grantee. The Board hereby FINDS that the project is exempt from Environ- mental Impact Report requirements as a Class 12 Categorical Exemption under County Guidelines and DIRECTS the Public Works Director to file a Notice of Exemption with the County Clerk.
