HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 03241987 - 1.2 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Order on March 24 , 1987 , by the following vote : AYES : Supervisors Powers , Fanden, Schroder, Torlakson & McPeak NOES : None ABSENT : None TRAFFIC RESOLUTION NO. 3173 ABSTAIN : None Supervisorial District III SUBJECT : Speed Limits on BOLLINGER CANYON ROAD ( Road No . 2842B ) The Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors RESOLVES THAT : On the basis of an engineering and traffic survey and recommendations thereon by the County Public Works Department ' s Traffic Engineering Division and pursuant to the County Ordinance Code Chapter 46 - 2 ( Sec . 46 - 2 . 002 ff . ) , this Board hereby determines that the present speed Iimit( s ) established on the below-described road , a street within the criteria of Vehicle Code Section 22358 A s ( are) more than reasonable and safe , and hereby determines and declares that the following speed limits ) is ( are) most appropriate, reasonable , and safe prima facie speed limit( s ) there : Pursuant to Section 22358 of the California Vehicle Code , no vehicle shall travel in excess of 45 miles per hour on that portion of BOLLINGER CANYON ROAD ( RD . 028426 ) , San Ramon , beginning at the intersection of Crow Canyon Road and extending northerly and westerly a distance of 3 .7 miles ; thence . No vehicle shall travel in excess of 25 miles per hour on that portion of BOLLINGER CANYON ROAD beginning at a point 3 . 7 miles northerly and westerly of Crow Canyon Road and extending westerly a distance of .76 miles to its point of termination .
