SUBJECT: Sublease for Phoenix Programs, Inc.
Specific Request(s) or Recommendation(s) & Background &
Justification
I. Recommended Action: AUTHORIZE the Director of General
Services to EXECUTE, on behalf of the County, a Sublease
commencing July 1, 1987, with Phoenix Programs, Inc. for
the premises at 1515 Market Avenue, San Pablo, for
occupancy by Phoenix Programs, Inc. , under the terms and
conditions more particularly set forth in said Sublease.
REVIEW and CONSIDER Negative Declaration of Environ-
mental Significance; FIND that the project will not have
a significant effect on the environment and that an
Environmental Impact Report is not required; and DIRECT
the Community Development Director to file a Notice of
Determination with the County Clerk.
II. Financial Impact: Revenues offset all costs incurred by
the County under the Master Lease for the premises.
III. Reasons for Recommendations/Background: Provide office
space as requested by the Health Services Department for
operation of a homeless service center by Phoenix Pro-
grams, Inc.
