Subject: Extension of Cable Television License Granted to
Century Communications Corporation
WHEREAS on December 19, 1968, the Board granted a nonexclusive license
to Century Communications Corporation to construct, operate and maintain a
community antenna television system within a certain area of Contra Costa
County ("County") in accordance with Division 58 of the County Ordinance
Code;
WHEREAS the above described license expires on June 30, 1989;
WHEREAS Century Communications Corporation desires to renew its license;
WHEREAS County is in the process of preparing and considering
amendments to its Cable Television Ordinance (Division 58 of the County
Ordinance Code) ;
WHEREAS it is anticipated that the proposed amendments will not be
completed prior to June 30, 1989; and
WHEREAS the County and Century Communications Corporation desire to
extend the above-described license to facilitate completion of the proposed
amendments;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the above described license to
Century Communications Corporation is extended to December 31, 1989.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this extension is granted upon the same
terms and conditions, and subject to the same limitations, presently applicable
to the license, including all provisions of Division 58 of the County Ordinance
Code.

Bay Cablevision, Inc. License ) RESOLUTION NO. 89./3,67
Subject: Extension of Cable Television License Granted to
Bay Cablevision, Inc.
WHEREAS on November 22, 1968 and February 3, 1969, the Board granted
nonexclusive licenses to Bay Cablevision, Inc. to construct, operate and
maintain a community antenna television system within a certain area of Contra
Costa County ("County") in accordance with Division 58 of the County
Ordinance Code;
WHEREAS the above described licenses expire on June 30, 1989.
WHEREAS Bay Cablevision, Inc. desires to renew its license;
WHEREAS County is in the process of preparing and considering
amendments to its Cable Television Ordinance (Division 58 of the County
Ordinance Code);
WHEREAS it is anticipated that the proposed amendments will not be
completed prior to June 30, 1989; and
WHEREAS the County and Bay Cablevision, Inc. desire to extend the
above-described license to facilitate completion of the proposed amendments;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the above described licenses to
Bay Cablevision, Inc. are extended to December 31, 1989.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this extension is granted upon the same
terms and conditions, and subject to the same limitations, presently applicable
to the licenses, including all provisions of Division 58 of the County Ordinance
Code.

United Artists Cablesystems Corporation ) RESOLUTION NO. 89/368
Midwest, Inc. License )
Subject: Extension of Cable Television License Granted to
United Artists Cablesystems Corporation Midwest, Inc.
WHEREAS on August 16, 1966, the Board granted a nonexclusive license to
General Electric Cablevision Corporation (GE) to construct, operate and maintain
a community antenna television system within a certain area of Contra Costa
County ("County") in accordance with Division 58 of the County Ordinance
Code;
WHEREAS pursuant to a merger between GE and United Artists
Cablesystems Corporation Midwest, Inc. (UA), the Board, on August 28, 1984,
approved the transfer and assignement of the above-described license to UA;
WHEREAS the above-described license expires on June 30, 1989;
WHEREAS UA desires to renew its license;
WHEREAS County is in the process of preparing and considering
amendments to its Cable Television Ordinance (Division 58 of the County
Ordinance Code);
WHEREAS it is anticipated that the proposed amendments will not be
completed prior to June 30, 1989; and
WHEREAS County and UA desire to extend the above-described license to
facilitate completion of the proposed amendments;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the above described license to
UA is extended to December 31, 1989.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this extension is granted upon the same
terms and conditions, and subject to the same limitations, presently applicable
to the license, including all provisions of Division 58 of the County Ordinance
Code.

WHEREAS on November 25, 1980, the Board granted a nonexclusive license
to Western Cabled Systems to construct, operate and maintain a community
antenna television system within a certain area of Contra Costa County
("County") in accordance with Division 58 of the County Ordinance Code;
WHEREAS the above-described license expires on June 30, 1989;
WHEREAS Western Cabled Systems desires to renew its license;
WHEREAS County is in the process of preparing and considering
amendments to its Cable Television Ordinance (Division 58 of the County
Ordinance Code) ;
WHEREAS it is anticipated that the proposed amendments will not be
completed prior to June 30, 1989; and
WHEREAS County and Western Cabled Systems desire to extend the
above-described license to facilitate completion of the proposed amendments;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the above-described license to

Concord TV Cable License ) RESOLUTION NO. 89/370
Subject: Extension of Cable Television License Granted to
Concord TV Cable
WHEREAS on August 16, 1966, the Board granted a nonexclusive license to
Western Communications, Inc. to construct, operate and maintain a community
antenna television system within a certain area of Contra Costa County
("County") in accordance with Division 58 of the County Ordinance Code;
WHEREAS Western Communications, Inc. subsequently changed the name of
its company to Concord TV Cable and this change was duly acknowledged by
the Board on April 25, 1967;
WHEREAS the above-described license expires on June 30, 1989;
WHEREAS Concord TV Cable desires to renew its license;
WHEREAS County is in the process of preparing and considering
amendments to its Cable Television Ordinance (Division 58 of the County
Ordinance Code);
WHEREAS it is anticipated that the proposed amendments will not be
completed prior to June 30, 1989; and
WHEREAS County and Concord TV Cable desire to extend the
above-described license to facilitate completion of the proposed amendments;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the above-described license to
Concord TV Cable is extended to December 31, 1989.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this extension is granted upon the same
terms and conditions, and subject to the same limitations, presently applicable
to the license, including all provisions of County Ordinance No. 1980.

Tele-Vue Systems, Inc. to construct, operate and maintain a community antenna
television system within a certain area of Contra Costa County ("County") in
accordance with Division 58 of the County Ordinance Code;
WHEREAS the above described license expires on June 30, 1989;
WHEREAS Viacom desires to renew its license;
WHEREAS County is in the process of preparing and considering
amendments to its Cable Television Ordinance (Division 58 of the County
Ordinance Code);
WHEREAS it is anticipated that the proposed amendments will not be
completed prior to June 30, 1989; and
WHEREAS County and Viacom desire to extend the above-described license
to facilitate completion of the proposed amendments;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the above described license to
Viacom is extended to December 31, 1989.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this extension is granted upon the same
terms and conditions, and subject to the same limitations, presently applicable
to the license, including all provisions of Division 58 of the County Ordinance
Code.
