Adopted this Order on June 3, 1986 , by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Fanden, Schroder, McPeak, Torlakson, Powers
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None

SUBJECT: Preliminary revision to application of Four Winds
Retirement Community Project (2644-RZ) to rezone
land in the Clayton area. ,
The Board on March 18, 1986 referred to the County
Planning Commission and the Director, Community Development Department,
the application of the Four Winds Retirement Community Project for
redesign of the project to a maximum of 16 units.
The Board received a report, dated May 12, 1986 , from
Harvey E. Bragdon, Director, Community Development Department,
advising that Mr. T. M. Yang, spokesman for the proposed project has
submitted a revised plan proposing to establish 17 residential lots
(1 for the existing residence and 16 for proposed new residences) .
Mr. Bragdon further advised that Mr. Yang is looking for some direc-
tion prior to filing a revised plan so that he can minimize the
potential problems he will face in processing an application for a
new project.
Val Alexeeff, spokesperson for the City of Clayton,
advised that the City Council endorsed Alternative One as stated in
the Environmental Impact Report.
Serafino Bianchini expressed the belief that the project
should be low density. Although- he expressed support for a low
density project, he concurred with the City of Clayton's endorsement
of Alternative One.
Following discussion, the Board EXPRESSED support for 17
clustered units for a senior citizen retirement project or 11 single
family residential homes.
