Bragdon FROM Director of Community Development Contra June 2, 1986 `,`� ,sta DATE: coiny Approval of the Twelfth Year ( 1986-87) CommunityDe opment SUBJECT: Block Grant (CDBG) Program Project Agreement, Harmony Home; and Actions Related Thereto SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATION(S) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION RECOMMENDATION Authorize the Chair to execute the 12th Year CDBG ' Program Project Agreement implementing Activity #12-10 Housing for Developmentally Disabled with a. payment limit of $119,600; approve Note and Deed of Trust between the County and Harmony Home; authorize the Director of Community Development or Chief, Development of Finance Programs to execute said loan document; and accept the form of Deed of Develop- ment Rights as attached hereto. FINANCIAL IMPAC'.T None ( 100% HUD Funds) BACKGROUND Harmony Home is; a non-profit charitable association with four years of operating experience treating developmentally disabled people. Their current location at 1579 N. Mitchell Canyon Road, Clayton is a leased home to be acquired with the use of Community Development Block Grant funds as well as other private funds. This project will provide them with a stable more permanent location to carry out their program.
