Bragdon, Acting Director SUBJECT: I 680/24 Public/Private Task Force - Status .Report BY: Barbara A. Neustadter, Deputy Directory Transportation Planning Division The Task Force which is co-chaired by Supervisors Sunne McPeak and Robert Schroder was established to monitor the timetable and procedures for construction improvements for the Highway 241I-680 Corridor. The croup has met twice. The Task Force met with Caltrans officials and has developed a mutually agreeable schedule which Caltrans officials think is reasonable (see attachment) . The schedule will accelerate the beginning of construction by performing the necessary administrative and environmental work concurrently rather than sequentially. The time schedule agreed to by Caltrans will permit construction to begin in June 1988 rather than FY 1990/91. The Task Force will meet at key dates of the agreed upon schedule to ensure that project delays and slippages do not occur. cc: Harvey Bragdon T/P Staff Attachment RC :dsp mBOA680task.t6 HIGHWAY 680/24 TASK FORCE SUMMARY OF PROCEEDINGS May 12, 1986 Meeting Call To Order Supervisor Sunne McPeak called the meeting to order.
