If your study indicates that she is working at a higher classification, I am requesting that a competitive recruitment be waived and that Julie be promoted to the Deputy CAO position on the basis that she has performed at that level for the last six months. Over the last six months, I have been Julie' s supervisor. Below is a list of responsibilities and activities assigned to Julie which should be considered in your study. 1. Performs successfully under very limited supervision. 2. Successfully handles a high level of budget responsibili- ties, including 16 budget units and 6 departments. 3. Adequately supervises and trains administrative aides in budget development and analysis activities. 4. Represents the County at the State level on .SB-90 matters and is responsible for coordinating this State reimbursement program in the County. 5. Successfully formulates operating policies and procedures such as the internal budget appropriation adjustment policy and interface procedures with Auditor' s Office for the 1986-1987 budget. 6. Coordinates CCABS budget activities with the Auditor' s Office as well as the printing of the budget with the General Services Department. 7 Com t r, 7. Office advisor and coordinator of activities.
