In the Matter of Accepting and .Giving RESOLUTION OF ACCEPTANCE
Notice of Completion of Contract with and NOTICE OF COMPLETION
Alpha Waterproofing & Restoration ) (C.C. S3086, 3893)

Authorization No. 0928-WH124H ) RESOLUTION NO. 86/240
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
The County of Contra Costa on October 8, 1985 contracted with Alpha Waterproofing &
Restoration for Comlce_-and'-Orpamentation Repair at. Courthouse; 725 Court Stree.t.,
Martinez, Budget Line Item No. 4403-4124, Authorization No. 0928-WH124H with Capital
Bond and Insurance Company as surety, for work to be performed on the grounds of the
County pursuant to a Board Order dated October 8, 1985, in which the General Services
Department was authorized to proceed in the most expeditious manner in accordance
with Public Contract Code 20134 for Miscellaneous Exterior Repairs at Courthouse;
and
The Director of General Services reports that said work has been inspected and
complies with the approved plans , special provisions , and standard specifications , and
recommends its acceptance as complete as of April 29, 1986; and recommends the
withholding of $3,500 pursuant to a letter signed by the Contractor on April 7, 1986;
Therefore, said work is accepted as completed on said date, and the Clerk shall file
with the County Recorder a copy of this Resolution and Notice as a Notice of Comple-
tion for said contract; and the Director of General Services is directed to withhold
$3,500 of monies otherwise due pursuant to the letter signed by the Contractor on
April 7, 1986.
Time extension to the date of acceptance is granted as the work was delayed due to
unforeseeable causes beyond the control and without the fault or negligence of the
Contractor.

AYES: Supervisors Fanden, Schroder, McPeak, Torlakson & Powers

The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
The County of Contra Costa on July 16, 1985 contracted with Alpha Waterproofing b
Restoration for fSurface--Res.to:ration. of"`Exterior. Wa1l-s- at 725 Court 'Stree.t, Martinez,
Budget Line Item No. 4403-4124, Authorization No. 0928-WH124F with Capital Bond and
Insurance Company as surety, for work to be performed on the grounds of the County;
and
The Director of General- Services reports that said work has been inspected and
complies with the approved plans , special provisions , and standard specifications , and
