HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 03251986 - X.4 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Order on March 25, 1986, by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Fanden, Schroder, McPeak, Torlakson $ Powers NOES : None ABSENT: None TRAFFIC RESOLUTION NO. 3109 ABSTAIN: None Supervisorial District III SUBJECT: Speed Limits on BLACKHAWK ROAD (Road No. 4331D) The Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors RESOLVES THAT: On the basis of an engineering and traffic survey and recommendations thereon by the County Public Works Department' s Traffic Engineering Division and pursuant to the County Ordinance Code Chapter 46-2 (Sec. 46-2.002 ff.) , this Board hereby determines that the present speed limit(s) established on the below-described road, a street within the criteria of Vehicle Code Section 22358 is(are) more than reasonable and safe , and hereby determines and declares that the following speed limit(s) is(are) most appropriate, reasonable, and safe prima facie speed limit(s) there: Pursuant to Section 22358 of the California Vehicle Code, no vehicle shall travel in excess of 25 mph on that portion of BLACKHAWK ROAD (Rd 4331D) , beginning at the intersection of Camino Tassajara and extending northerly to a point of 0.2 miles north of the intersection of Blackhawk Drive. The 25 mph speed limit shall be a temporary construction speed limit and shall be in effect only during the current pipeline construction project on this portion of Blackhawk Road. I hereby certify thatthis Is a true and correct copy of an action taken and entered on the minutes of the Board of Supervisors on the date shown.
