THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
Adopted this order on March 25, 1986 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Fanden, Schrdoer, Torlakson and Powers
NOES: None
ABSENT: Supervisor McPeak
ABSTAIN: None
Resolution No. RA 86-2
SUBJECT: Approval of a DDA between the Redevelopment Agency and
Walnut View Properties, Pleasant Hill BART Station Area
Redevelopment Project.
It is the intent of the Redevelopment Agency to enter into a
Disposition and Development Agreement (DDA) with Walnut View
Properties, as the designated developer of Specific Plan
Development Area 1B in the Pleasant Hill BART Station Area
Redevelopment Project. The purpose of the DDA is to provide for:
1. The conveyance of Redevelopment Agency owned property
to the developer to complete the assembly of Area 1B.
2. The conveyance of developer owned property to the
Agency for realignment of Oak Road. .
3 . The orderly development of Area 1B in accordance with
the Redevelopment Plan.
In accordance with California Community Redevelopment Law (Health
and Safety Code Section 33433 ) the Agency has prepared a Summary
Report on the DDA; the Summary Report and the DDA have been made
available for public inspection; and the Agency and Board of
Supervisors have held a duly noticed public hearing to consider
the DDA.
The Redevelopment Agency finds that the DDA is in the best
intrest of the County and the Agency, and is necessary for
implementation of the Pleasant Hill BART Station Area
Redevelopment Plan.
Therefore, the Redevelopment Agency hereby resolves:
1 . That certain Disposition and Development Agreement
between the Agency and Walnut View Properties, (Agency
Contract No. RA 86-14) on file with the Clerk of the
Board. of Supervisors affecting Specific Plan
Developemnt Area 1B in the Pleasant Hill BART Station
Area Redevelopment Project, is hereby approved.
2 . The Executive Director or his designee is authorized to
execute the DDA and such other documents as may be
reasonably necessary to carry out its terms and
provisions.

The Board of Supervisors finds that the purchase price of
property interests to be conveyed to Walnut View Properties
pursuant to the DDA is not less than the fair market value of
such interests determined at the highest and best use permitted
under the Redevelopment Plan.
Therefore, the Board of Supervisors hereby resolves:
That certain Disposition and Development Agreement (Agency
Contract No. RA 86-14) - between the Redevelopment Agency and
Walnut View Properties on file with the Clerk of the Board of
Supervisors affecting Specific Plan Development Area 1B in the
Pleasant Hill BART Station Area Redevelopment Project, is hereby
approved.
