Adopted this Order on March 25 , 1986 , by the following vote:
AYES: SUpervisors, Fanden, McPeak, Schroder , Torlakson , Powers .
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
SUBJECT: Weed Abatement Work in the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District
For 1986',87-88 Abatement Contract for Hand Mowing & Rubbish Removal

The above captioned project and the specifications therefore being approved,
bids being duly invited and received, the Chief, Contra Costa County Fire Protection
District, recommending that the bid listed above is the lowest responsible bid and this
Board concurring and so finding;
IT IS ORDERED that the contract for the furnishing of labor and materials for
said work is awarded to said first listed bidder at the listed amount and at the unit
prices submitted in said bid; and that said contractor shall present two good and suffi-
cient surety bonds as indicated above.; and that the Contra Costa County Fire Protection
District shall prepare the contract therefore;
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that, after the contractor has signed the contract and
returned it together with bonds as noted above and any required certificates of insurance,
and the County Counsel has reviewed and approved them as to form, the Chairman of the
Board is authorized to sign the contract for this Board;

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that, upon signature of the contract by the Board Chair-
man, the bonds posted by,jthe other bidders are to be exonerated and any checks submitted
for security shall be returned.
Passed by the Board on March 25, 1986.
