The Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors ordains 'as follows (omitting
the parenthetical footnotes from the official text of the enacted or amended
4 provisions of the County Ordinance Code):
SECTION 1: SUMMARY: This ordinance amends Section 530-2.212 of the County
Ordinance Code to change reporting periods for county officials to coincide with
state reporting periods.
SECTION 11: Section 530-2.212 is amended to read:
An "election cycle" begins July 1 or January 1,
whichever comes first immediately following an election.
An election cycle ends June 30 or December 31, whichever
comes first, immediately following the next election for
the same office.
SECTION III. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance becomes effective 30 days
after passage, and within 15 days of passage shall be published once with the
names of the supervisors voting for and against it in the Contra Costa Times ,
a newspaper published in' this County.

AYES: Supervisors Fanden, McPeE.k, Schroder , Torlakson, Powers.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
ABSTAIN: None.
