Boundary Reorganization RESOLUTION NO: 86/140
(LAFC 85-9) (Gov. C.' §57082).
This resolution is adopted pursuant to the Cortese-Knox
Act (Gov. C. §§56000-57550) .
The purpose of the proposed reorganization is to allow
efficient provision of water service to territory to be
developed. This proposal is for a reorganization consisting of
an annexation to the East Bay Municipal Utility District, a
detachment from the Contra Costa Water District, and a concurrent
amendment of spheres of influence to accommodate said annexation
and detachment as well as the transfer of the subject territory.
from the sphere of influence of Pleasant Hill to the sphere of
inflence of Martinez.
The subject territory is legally uninhabited and the
Local Agency Formation Commission has authorized this Board to
conduct proceedings without notice and hearing.
The terms and conditions for the reorganization, as specified,
by the LocalAgencyFormation Commission, are that:
1. The boundaries of the annexation and detachment be as
.described in Exhibit A.
2. The affected territory be subject to the East Bay
Municipal .Utility District ordinances, rules, regulations, bonded
indebtedness and contractual obligations.
The affected .territory will be taxed for the existing bonded
indebtedness of the East Bay Municipal Utility District. The
regular county* assessment roll will be used for the collection of
taxes and assessments in the subject territory.
This Board hereby approves and orders this reorganization,
subject to the terms and conditions aforestated.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of
a resolution entered on the minutes of said Board'of Supervisors on the date
aforesaid.

corporated, being Parcel B of the Map filed December 16, 1974, in Book 36 of
Parcel Maps at Page 12, Contra Costa County Records, further described as
follows: beginning at the northeasterly corner of Parcel B, on the westerly
line of Reliez Valley Road, at a point on the common District boundary line
between the Contra Costa County Water. District and the East by Municipal Utility
District; thence along said common District boundary line, South 0032'09" West
