RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ADOPT RESOLUTION OF NECESSITY
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County, RESOLVES THAT:
It intends to adopt a Resolution of Necessity for the acquisition by
eminent domain of real property in the West Pittsburg area, for the construction
of a storm drain facility, a public improvement, which property is more particu-
larly described in Appendix "A" attached hereto.
This Board will meet on August 13, 1985 at 10:30 a.m. in the Board's
Chambers, County Administration Building, 651 Pine Street, Martinez, California,
to hear those persons whose property is to be acquired and whose names and
addresses appear on the last equalized County assessment roll , and to consider
the adoption of the Resolution. The Contra Costa County Real Property Division is
DIRECTED to send the following notice to each such person by first-class mail :
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ADOPT RESOLUTION OF NECESSITY
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County declares its intention
to adopt a Resolution of Necessity for the acquisition by eminent domain of
real property in the West Pittsburg area, for the construction of a storm drain
facility, a public improvement, which property is more particularly described in
Appendix "A" attached hereto. The Board will meet on August 13, 1985, at 10:30
a.m, in the Board's Chambers at 651 Pine Street, Martinez, California, to consider
the adoption of the Resolution. Each person whose property is to be acquired and
whose name and address appears on the last equalized County assessment roll has
the right to appear at such hearing and be heard on:
1. Whether the public interest and necessity require the project;
and
2. Whether the project is planned and located in the manner that
will be most compatible with the greatest public good and the
least private injury; and
3. Whether the property sought to be ' acquired is necessary for the
project; and
4. Whether the offer of just compensation required by Section 7267.2
of the Government Code has been made to the owner of record.

A DRAINAGE EASEMENT DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
A portion of the southwest 4 of Section 11, Township 2 North, Range 1 West,
ftnt Diablo Meridian and a portion of Lot 6 as said Lot is shown on the map
entitled "Poinsettia Land Company, West Pittsburg, Tract Unit No. 1" filed
June 8, 1926 in Book 19 of Maps at Page 506, Records of Contra Costa County,
California, described as follows:
Commencing at the Contra Cost$ County monument at the intersection of
Willow Pass Road and Bailey Road as shown on the map entitled "A Precise
Section of the Streets and Highways Plan - Contra Costa County - Willow Pass
Road" recorded April 6, 1962 in Book 4092 at Page 357 of Official Records of
said County; said monument bears South 890 07' 22." East 677.20 feet along the
centerline of Willow .Pass Road from another Contra Costa County monument as
shown on said map (4092 OR 357) ; thence from said point of commencement

[bad; thence leaving said centerline North 00 52' 38" East 44.00 feet to a
point on the northerly right of way line of Willow Pass Road as described in

A strip of land 12.00 feet in width (the sidelines of which shall shorten or
lengthen as necessary to begin in the northerly right of way line of Willow
Pass Road) , the centerline of which is described as follows:
Thence from said Point of Beginning, North 120 45' 18" East 262.63 feet;
thence North 180 52' 27" East 144.00 feet to a point on a line which is
10.00 feet northerly, right angle measurement, and parallel with the northerly
line of TRACT 2616 as shown on the map filed July 17, 1958 in Book 70 of
Maps at Page 14, Records of Contra Costa County; thence along said parallel
line South 890 07' 22' East 319.51 feet to the westerly line of said Lot 6
(19 M 506) ; thence easterly along the arc of a tangent curve, concave to the
north having a radius of 180.00 feet through a central angle of 190 43' 15 ",
a distance of 61.95 feet to a point of reverse curve from which a radial
line of a tangent curve concave to the south having a radius of 180.00 feet,
bears South 180 50' 37" East; thence easterly along the arc of said curve,
through a central angle of 190 40' 5711, a distance of 61.83 feet; thence
South 890 09' 40" East 179.44 feet to a point on the easterly line of said
Lot 6 (19 M 506) , said point shall hereinafter be referred to as Point
"A". Said Point "A" being the easterly terminus of said 10.00 feet in width

West 458.93 feet to the Contra Costa County monument at the intersection of
North Broadway Avenue and Willow Pass Road as shown on said precise map

A TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION EASEMENT DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
The southerly 40 feet of that parcel of land described as PARCEL 1 in deed
to the Campora Wholesale Propane, Inc. recorded November 16, 1976 in Book
8093 at Page 199 of Official Records of Contra Costa County, California.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the 12.00 feet in width strip of land described above in
Parcels 1336 through 1339, inclusive.
