SUBJECT: LEASE FOR OFFICE OF EMERGENCY SERVICES
SPECIFIC REQUESTS(S) OR RECOMMENDATION(S) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. Recommended Action: AUTHORIZE the Chairwoman of the Board of Supervisors to
EXECUTE, on behalf of the. County, a Lease commencing August 15, 1985, with _Muir
Parkway Properties for the premises at 1320 Arnold Drive, Suite .160, Martinez,
for temporary occupancy by the Office of Emergency Services, under the terms and
conditions more particularly set forth in said Lease.
DETERMINE that the above project is a Class 1 Categorical Exemption under
the California Environmental Quality Act.
DIRECT the Public Works Director to FILE a Notice of Exemption with the
County Clerk.
II. Financial Impact: Payments required are to come from the budget of the Office of
Emergency Services.
III. Reasons for Recommendations/Background: Provide temporary office space as
requested y the office of Emergency--7er-vices during construction of their new
facility at 50 Glacier Drive, Martinez.
