Resolution of Summary Vacation
Vacation No. 1922 Public Service Easement

The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
The project consists of the vacation of all remaining County interest
including the vacation of all exceptions and reservations withheld by
the County for public utility purposes as described in Exhibit "A" and
the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors Resolution No. 62/1318 and
the disposal of all County interest in said parcel. The project is located
in a portion of Assessors Parcel No. 380-180-063 between the existing
street Arthur Road and Pacheco Boulevard in the unincorporated area of
Martinez.
This Board hereby FINDS that the proposed vacation will not have
a significant effect on the environment, and that it has been determined
to be categorically exempt under State guidelines Section 10312 in compliance
with the California Environmental Quality Act. This project clearly
has no environmental significance and is for the purpose of clearing
the title of the parcel of land previously vacated in the Matter of Abandon-
ment of Portion of Arthur Road on August 28, 1962 by the Board of Supervisors
in Resolution No. 62/1318.
The Planning Department having filed its general plan report concerning
this proposed vacation and this Board having considered the general plan,
it finds pursuant to Government Code Sec. 65402(a) that in accordance
with its Resolution No. 81/522 this vacation is of a minor nature.
This Board declares that the hereinabove described proposed vacation
area is HEREBY ORDERED VACATED. From and after the date this Resolution
is recorded, the portion vacated no longer constitutes a public service
easement. This vacation is made under the Streets and Highways Code,
Chapter 4, Sections 8330 et seq. The easement has been superceded by
relocation and there are no other public facilities located within the
easement.

The Public Works Director shall file with the County Clerk a Notice
1
of Exemption.
A certified copy of this resolution, attested- by the Clark under
seal, shall be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder.
