Michael Walford, Public Works Director DATE: June 4, 1985 SUBJECT: LEASE OPTION FOR 6.1 ACRES AT SOUTHWEST CORNER OF SOLANO WAY AND MARSH DRIVE - BUCHANAN FIELD, CITY OF CONCORD - SOLANO WAY PROPERTIES SPECIFIC REQUEST ST S) a AirK6kOUND AND JUSTIFICATION I. Recommended Action: AUTHORIZE the Chairwoman of the Board of Supervisors to ACCEPT i o ,000 and EXECUTE, on behalf of the County, a Lease Option for the proposed development of the County-owned, 6.1 acre parcel , by the Solano Way Properties. II. Financial Impact: $26,000 income. III. Reasons for Recommendations: On July 10, 1984, the Board authorized the Public Works Director to advertise for the development of the 6.1 acre parcel of land at the southwest corner of Marsh Drive and Solano Way. On October 15, 1985, Solano Way Properties, AKA Magnussen Dodge, was the successful bidder for the development of the 6.1 acre parcel . The lease option negotiations have been completed and now in compliance with the bid procedure, County is accepting the high bid and entering into a lease option with Solano Way Properties.
