HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 06041985 - 1.3 /. 3 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Resolution on June 4, 1985, by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Powers , Schroder, McPeak, Torlakson $ Fanden NOES: None- ABSENT: None Resolution No. 85 12-81 (S&H Section 8355) Subject: Sale of County Surplus Real Property Alamo Area Project No. 0662-6U4222 The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: On July 3, 1979, the Board adopted Resolution No. 79/696 which vacated a portion of Stone Valley Road. This Board hereby DETERMINES that the land vacated by said resolution, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, was previously subject to a street, highway or public service easement, and is no longer needed by the public. Pursuant to Streets and Highways Code Section 8355 , and in consideration of the sums listed below, the Board hereby APPROVES the sale of said properties to the Grantees listed below and AUTHORIZES the Chairwoman to sign Quitclaim Deeds on behalf of the County as follows: Grantee Amount Document Paul H. Prehn, Jr. $500 Quitclaim Deed Gordon and Bernice A. Fereira $500 Quitclaim Deed Michael and Julia M. Sandor $500 Quitclaim Deed Laurel Ann Ritter $500 Quitclaim Deed The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause said deeds to be delivered to said grantees. The Board hereby FINDS that the project is exempt from Environmental Impact Report requirements as a Class 12 Categorical Exemption under County Guidelines and DIRECTS the Public Works Director to file a Notice of Exemption with the County Clerk. The project has been determined to conform to the County's General Plan and the Board so FINDS. 1 hereby certify that this Is a true and correct Copy of an at'dsn token and entered on the minutas of the Board of Supervisors on the date shown. Prehn, Jr. , recorded May 25, 1976 in Book 7886 Official Records, page 38; thence from said point of beginning along the southerly line of Squier Acres , Unit No. 1 as shown on the map filed April 24, 1952 in Book 46 of Maps, page 36 South 82047'50" East 258.39 feet; thence leaving said southerly line South 7 12'10" West 57.61 feet to the southerly line of the herein above mentioned Resolution No. 79/696 (943 OR 871) ; thence North 710 29' 57" west along said southerly line 215.92 feet and North 640 37' 19" West 49.11 feet to the point of beginning.
