Subject: Sale of County Surplus Real Property
Alamo Area

The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
On July 3, 1979, the Board adopted Resolution No. 79/696 which vacated a
portion of Stone Valley Road. This Board hereby DETERMINES that the land vacated
by said resolution, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, was previously
subject to a street, highway or public service easement, and is no longer needed
by the public.
Pursuant to Streets and Highways Code Section 8355 , and in consideration
of the sums listed below, the Board hereby APPROVES the sale of said properties
to the Grantees listed below and AUTHORIZES the Chairwoman to sign Quitclaim
Deeds on behalf of the County as follows:

The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause said deeds to be delivered
to said grantees.
The Board hereby FINDS that the project is exempt from Environmental Impact
Report requirements as a Class 12 Categorical Exemption under County Guidelines
and DIRECTS the Public Works Director to file a Notice of Exemption with the
County Clerk. The project has been determined to conform to the County's General
Plan and the Board so FINDS.

PARCEL ONE
A portion of Section 17, Township 1 south, Range 1 west, Mount Diablo Meridian,
described as follows:
A portion of the area described in Resolution No. 79/696, In the Matter of Summary
Abandonment of a Portion of Superceded Stone Valley Road, Alamo Area, recorded July 9,
1979 in Book 9431 Official Records, at page 871, Contra Costa County Records described
as follows:
Beginning at the most westerly corner of Lot 4 as said lot is shown on the map of
Squier Acres, Unit No. 1, which was filed April 24, 1952 in Book 46 of Maps, at page
36; thence from said point of beginning along the southwesterly line of said Lot 4
southeasterly along the arc of a curve to the right having a radius of 530 feet which
bears South 280 45' 38" West through a central angle of 160 12' 57" and an arc length
of 150.00 feet to the most southerly corner of said Lot 4; thence leaving said south-
westerly line South 440 58' 35" West 14.67 feet to the southerly line of the arcel of
land described in the hereinabove mentioned Resolution No. 79/696 (943 OR 871 ; thence
North 710 29' 57" West along said southerly line 144.04 feet; thence leaving said
southerly line North 260 43' 13" East 60.88 feet to the point of beginning.
Reserving therefrom, pursuant to the provisions of Section 8340 of the Streets and
Highway Code, an easement and right at any time, or from time to time, to construct,
enlarge, maintain, operate, replace, remove, and renew those existing and in place
utilities and storm drainage facilities, as of the date of recording this instrument,
in, upon, over, and across the property herein before described.

That portion of Parcel "A" shown as Area Abandoned by County, 9431 OR 873 on the
Record of Survey Map filed October 5, 1979 in Book 66 of LSM at page 21, described as
follows:
Beginning at a point on the northeasterly line of. Stone Valley Road as shown on said
map (66 LSM 21) , being also the most southerly corner of said Parcel "A"; thence from
said point of beginning north 160 00' 15" east along the easterly line of said Parcel
"A" 67.40 feet; thence leaving said easterly line along the arc of a curve to the left
having a radius of 530 feet the center of which bears south 140 22' 45" west through a
central angle of 70 10' 4111, a distance of 66.40 feet; thence north 820 47' 56" west
tangent to the last mentioned curve 9.94 feet' thence south 70 12' 10" west 57.61 feet
to the northerly line of the above mentioned Stone Valley Road; thence south 710 29'
57" east along said northerly line 67.16 feet to the point of beginning.

follows:
Beginning at a point on the northeasterly line of Stone Valley Road as shown on said
map (66 LSM 21) being also the most southerly corner of said Parcel "B"; thence from
said point of beginning north 160 00' 15" east along the easterly line of said Parcel
"B" 68 .27 feet; thence leaving said easterly line westerly along the arc of a curve
to the left having a radius of 530 feet, the caenter of which bears south 160 00' 15"
west through a central angle of 10 37' 30" an arc distance of 15.03 feet to the
westerly line of said Parcel "B"; thence south 160 00' 15" west along said westerly line
67.40 feet to the northerly line of said Stone Valley Road; thence south 710 29' 57"
east along said northerly line 15.05 feet to the point of beginning.
Reserving therefrom,
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 8340 of the Streets and Highways Code, the
easement and right at any time, or from time to time, to construct, enlarge, maintain,
operate, replace, remove, and renew those existing and in place utilities, as of the
date of recording this instrument, in, upon, over and across any highway or part
thereof proposed to be abandoned, including access to protect the property from all
hazards in, upon, and over the area herein before described to be abandoned.

160 00' 15" west through a central angle of 120 45' 23" and an arc length of 118.00
feet to the most southerly corner of said Lot 3; thence leaving said southerly line
south 260 43' 13" east 60.88 feet to the southerly line of the parcel of land described
in the hereinabove mentioned Resolution No. 79/696 (943 OR 871) thence north 710
29' 57" west along said southerly line 105.81 feet; thence leaving said southerly line

to Contra Costa County from Paul H. Prehn, Jr. , recorded May 25, 1976 in Book 7886
Official Records, page 38; thence from said point of beginning along the southerly
line of Squier Acres , Unit No. 1 as shown on the map filed April 24, 1952 in Book 46
of Maps, page 36 South 82047'50" East 258.39 feet; thence leaving said southerly line
South 7 12'10" West 57.61 feet to the southerly line of the herein above mentioned
Resolution No. 79/696 (943 OR 871) ; thence North 710 29' 57" west along said southerly
line 215.92 feet and North 640 37' 19" West 49.11 feet to the point of beginning.
Reserving therefrom, pursuant to the provisions of Section 8340 of the Streets and
Highway Code, an easement and right at any time, or from time to time, to construct,
enlarge, maintain, operate, replace, remove, and renew those existing and in place
