HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 06251985 - 1.8 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Order on June 25,- 1985, by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Schroder, McPeak, Torlakson and Fanden NOES: None ABSENT: Supervisor Powers ABSTAIN: None RESOLUTION NO. 851344 SUBJECT: CAMINO RAMON, BISHOP DRIVE, NORRIS CANYON ROAD, EXECUTIVE PARKWAY The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: Pursuant to a letter dated June 4, 1985, from J. L. Gackowski , Chief of Police, City of San Ramon; This Board hereby temporarily suspends the existing "No Parking" regulation in force, for the period of 5:00 p.m. to 11 :00 p.m. on July 4, 1985, in order to permit street parking for a concert and July 4th fireworks display, to be held at Toyota Corporation, Bishop Ranch Office Park, on the following roads in San Ramon: CAMINO RAMON - on both sides beginning at a point 300 feet south of Norris Canyon Road and extending southerly to a point 300 feet north of Bollinger Canyon Road. BISHOP DRIVE - on both sides beginning at the intersection of Norris Canyon Road, and extending southerly and easterly to the intersection of Camino Ramon. NORRIS CANYON ROAD a) On both sides beginning at a point 300 feet east of Bishop Drive and extending easterly to a point 300 feet west of Camino Ramon. b) On the south side beginning at a point 450 feet east of Camino Ramon and extending easterly to the intersection of Alcosta Blvd. c) On the north side beginning at a point 300 feet east of Camino Ramon and extending easterly to the intersection of Alcosta Blvd. EXECUTIVE PARKWAY - on the south side beginning at Bishop Drive and extending easterly to Camino Ramon. After the temporary suspension has expired all of the aforesaid "No Parking" restrictions shall remain in full force and effect. The proponents of the San Ramon 4th of July festivities shall make arrangements with the County Public Works Department's Road Maintenance Division to cover and uncover the existing "No Parking" signs, and all costs for covering and uncovering the signs shall be borne by the proponents of the 4th of July festivities. 1 hereby certify tha:'fhts is a true and correct copy of BO.parking.6.12.85 an action taken and entered on the minute,of the _ Board of Superviscrs on the date hown.
