RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ADOPT RESOLUTION OF NECESSITY
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County, RESOLVES THAT:
It intends to adopt a Resolution of Necessity for the acquisition by
eminent domain of real property in the Byron area, for the widening of State
Highway 4, a public improvement, which property is more particularly described in
Appendix "A" attached hereto.
This Board will meet on April 23, 1985, at 10:30 a.m. in the Board's
Chambers, County Administration Building, 651 Pine Street, Martinez, California,
to hear those persons whose property is to be acquired and whose names and
addresses appear on the last equalized County assessment roll , and to consider
the adoption of the Resolution. The Contra Costa County Real Property Division is
DIRECTED to send the following notice to each Such person by first-class mail:
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ADOPT RESOLUTION OF NECESSITY
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County declares its intention
to adopt a Resolution of Necessity for the acquisition by eminent domain of
real property in the Byron area, for the widening of State Highway 4, a public
improvement, which property is more particularly described in Appendix ""A"
attached hereto. The Board will meet on April 23, 1985, at 10:30 a.m. in the
Board' s Chambers at 651 Pine Street, Martinez, California, to consider the
adoption of the Resolution. Each person whose property is to be acquired and
whose name and address appears on the last equalized County assessment roll has
the right to appear at such hearing and be heard on:
1. Whether the public interest and necessity require the project;
and
2. Whether the project is planned and located in the manner that
will be most compatible with the greatest public good and the
least private injury; and
3. Whether the property sought to be acquired is necessary for the
project; and
4. Whether the offer of just compensation required by Section 7267.2
of the Government Code has been made to the owner of record.

APPENDIX "A"
A part of the Northeast quarter of Section 34 in Township 1 North,
Range 3 East, MDBM, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at an iron pipe in the fence line which bears East 20.0
feet from a point on the North and South midsection line of said Section 34
which point bears N.0012' E. 50.0 feet along said midsection line from the
center of said Section 34 and running thence N. 0012' E. 125.3 feet to an
iron bar; thence N. 88051' E. 175.3 feet to an iron pipe; thence S. 0005'
W. 128.8 feet to an iron bar on a line parallel to and 50.0 feet North of
the East and West midsection line of said Section 34; thence along said
parallel line West 175.5 feet to point of beginning, containing 0.51 acres
more or less.
