SUBJECT: Closed Session
The Chairwoman announced that a closed session would
be held in accordance with the parameters as set forth in the
attached announcement .
At 1 : 00 P .M. the Board recessed into closed session
in Room 105 of the County Administration Building, 651 Pine Street ,
Martinez. The following Board members attended the closed session.
Supervisor Nancy Fanden, Chairwoman
Supervisor Robert Schroder
Supervisor Sunne W. McPeak
Supervisor Tom Torlakson
At 2: 30 P .M. the Board reconvened and continued with
the regular agenda.
CLOSED SESSION ANNOUNCEMENT = March 26 , 1985
(Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors in all of its capacities)
A-1. This Board will hold a closed session with its designated
representatives concerning employee salaries and compensation and
to consider employee appointment, employment, evaluation of
performance, or dismissal.
B-1. This Board will hold a closed session with Counsel to
receive confidential legal advice subject. to the attorney-client
privilege (Evid. Code §§950 ff . ) .
C-1. This Board will hold a closed session concerning pending
litigation pursuant to Government Code §54956 . 9 , subdivision:
(b) Significant exposure to litigation.
C-2 . This Board will hold a closed session concerning pending
litigation pursuant to Government Code §54956 . 9 , subdivision:
(a) Litigation initiated formally.
To state the title would jeopardize the Board ' s
ability to conclude existing settlement negotiations
to its advantage.
C-3 . This Board will hold a closed session concerning pending
litigation pursuant to Government Code §54956 . 9 , subdivision:
(b) Significant exposure to litigation.
