HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 03261985 - 1.3 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Oreer on March 26, 1985 by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Powers , Schroder, McPeak, Torlakson Fanden NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None SUBJECT: Resolution No. 85/144 In the Matter of Cooperative ) Agreement with the State of ) California, Dept. of Transportation) Agmt.#4-0815-C, and the Extension ) of Vine Hill Road Westerly from ) Pacheco Boulevard by the City of ) Martinez ) The Board of Supervisors approved Resolution 81/829 on July 28, 1981, which approved the construction, inspection and acceptance of a portion of Vine Hill Road westerly from Pacheco Blvd, which is being built as a State administered project, financed by the City of Martinez, and constructed in the unincorporated area of Pacheco. Upon request of the City of Martinez, the westerly extension of the work covered under the cooperative will be constructed concurrently by a land developer in and under the control of the City of Martinez, who has requested that the County accept for maintenance that additional portion, approximately 150 linear feet, in the unincorporated area upon completion of the work. It is recommended by the Public Works Director that the County accept by separate action the additional 150 linear feet, more or less, to be constructed by developers Security Owners Corporation of Martinez, subdividing in the City of Martinez, upon completion of the construction provided that: 1. The County has an opportunity to review the plans prepared by the developer, and participate in the final inspection, and 2. The developer pay for and obtains an encroachment permit from Contra Costa County for all the work within the right of way of Vine Hill Road (3975AH), and 3. The construction work in inspected and certified complete by the City of Martinez, and 4. The contiguous portions of the roadway between Pacheco Boulevard and Glacier Drive are completed and accepted by the City of Martinez, and 5. That a suitable right of way and pipeline easements are provided by the developer, and by the State through relinquishment upon completion of the work.
