ABSTAIN: None
SUBJECT: Authorizing the Public Works Director to Arrange for Completion
of Improvements, Subdivision MS 18-75, Orinda Area. Work Order
No. 5560.
The Board on September 16, 1980, having approved a Subdivision Agreement
with Bea Zavalney and Harold Dodd, effective September 16, 1980, for
construction of certain improvements in Subdivision MS 18-75, Orinda area;
and
The Public Works Director having reported that the developer has
failed to satisfactorily complete the work as required by said agreement;
and
The Public Works Director having recommended that he be authorized
to arrange for completing the work (estimated to be $42,000, plus the cost
of preparing plans and specification, and solicitation of bids) using the
$21,250 cash deposit (Auditor's Deposit Permit Nos. 139458, dated August
27, 1980 and 147317, dated June 6, 1977) made by Bea Zavalney and Harold
Dodd to help defray the County's cost:

Works Director is APPROVED.
