In authorizing a review, staff will proceed with a report which will then be scheduled for public hearing before thelCounty Planning Commission. Following this, the Commission would forward their recommendation to the Board for a final determination after public hearing. The area considered for amendment may need to be enlarged by staff to create logical planning boundaries. BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION I Steven Thomas of Thomas Properties has requested a General Plan amendment on this property in the Saranap area. The requested change is from Single Family Residential - High Density to Multiple Family Residential - High Density. The area is shown on the attached map. I.
