HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 06261984 - 1.21 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Order on June 26, 1984 by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Powers , Fanden, Schroder, Torlakson NOES: None ABSENT: Supervisor McPeak ABSTAIN: None SUBJECT: Authorize Contract Change Order, Assessment District 1981-1 , Work Order No. 5474, Danville-San Ramon Area. The Public Works Director has recommended the initiation of Contract Change Order No. 4 for Assessment District 1981-1 in the amount of $9,900.05 to compensate the contractor, Gallagher and Burk, for altering the plans to accommodate the future undergrounding of the utilities. The costs for altering the project to accommodate the future undergrounding of the utilities will be paid by the underground utility districts approved by the Board, the San Ramon City Council and the Danville City Council . The Public Works Director has reported that said change order and previous change orders collectively exceed $25,000.00. The Public Works Director has recommended the initiation of Contract Change Order No. 5 for Assessment District 1981-1 in the amount of $207,063.00 to compensate the contractor, Gallagher and Burk, for installing the joint utility trench with utility conduits and utility substructures on San Ramon Valley Boulevard along the Danville Ranch frontage in Danville. This work is being done at the request of, and is being funded by, the underground utility district formed within the boundaries of the 1981-1 Assessment District and approved by the Board. The Public Works Director has reported that said change order and previous change orders collectively exceed $25,000.00.
