Sheriff-Coroner, transmitting a letter from Earnest R.
Clements, Chief of Police, City of Richmond, advising that
effective June 1, 1984 jail operations of the Richmond
Police Department would be substantially reduced. Sheriff
Rainey advised the Board of the substantial impact this
latest reduction of services will have on his already
overburdened staff and facility.
