HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 05081984 - 3.6 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this order on May 8, 1984 by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Powers, Fanden, Schroder, McPeak, Torlakson NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None SUBJECT: Noxious Odor Emitted from Pacific Refining Company The Board on April 17, 1984, authorized to Chairman to send a letter to A. L. Gualtieri, Plant Manager, Pacific Refining Company, requesting resolution of the problem causing the unpleasant odor emitting from said refinery. The Board received a letter dated April 25, 1984, from Mr. Gualtieri, restating his Company' s commitment to correcting or discontinuing those operations which are the sources of the unpleasant odor and advising of the possibility of emissions when testing begins. IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that the aforesaid information is REFERRED to the District Attorney, Acting Health Services Director, and the County Administrator.
