NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None SUBJECT: Proposed Ordinance to Establish the Annual Sewer & Water Service Charges for Sanitation District No. 15 This being the time fixed for hearing on the proposed annual Sewer and Water Service charges for the fiscal year 1984-1985 for Contra Costa County Sanitation District No. 15; and Mr. John Walsh, representing the Marina Owners Association, having appeared and objected to the inequity of the scale of charges as it relates to marina owners; and Board members having discussed the matter, and Supervisor McPeak having suggested that the charges and the approach for this County be compared with charges for marinas in other jurisdictions; and Supervisor Torlakson having recommended that the scale of charges for marinas be reviewed by the Public Works Director and the Citizens Advisory Committee for Sanitation District No. 15; ' IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that the decision on the proposed ordinance establishing the annual sewer and water services charges for Contra' Co'sta County Sanitation District No. 15 is DEFERRED to June 19, 1984 at 10:30 a.m. , and the Public. Works- Director and the Citizens Advisory Committee are REQUESTED to review the proposed charges for marinas and the approach to establishing said charges. 1 hereby certify that this Is a true and correct copy of an action taker, and entered on the minutes of the Board of Supervisors on the date shown. ANNUAL UNIT CHARGE. For Fiscal Year 1984-1985 : A. The "Annual Unit Charge" referred to in Section 4 of Ordinance No. t is $220 . B. This Ordinance becomes effective 30 days after passage, and within 15 days after passage shall be published once with the names of Supervisors voting for and against it in the Richmond Independent , a newspaper published in this County and circulated in the District .
