THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
Adopted this Order on May 22, 1984 , by the.. following vote:

SUBJECT: Refinancing' of County Buildings
The Board received a letter dated May 18, 1984 from
C. E. Dixon, Interim County Administrator, advising that the refi-
nancing of the County Administrator Building in Martinez and the
Pleasant Hill complex has been completed with the closing of escrow
on May 17, 1984, and that $10, 017,000 is now available to mitigate
the budget deficit.
Mr. Dixon referred to a $2 Million advance (approved by
the Board on November 15, 1983) from the General Fund Reserve for
Contingencies to the Health Services Enterprise Fund to offset a
decrease in Medi-Cal revenues, and an additional advance of
$1, 254,000 (approved by the Beard on January 11, 1984) authorized
to meet the County' s AB 8 match. He noted that the two advances
to the Health Services Enterprise Fund totaled $3, 254, 000.
Mr. Dixon recommended that $2, 253, 000 - the net proceeds
of $10, 017,000 less the projected net deficit of $7, 764, 000 - be
returned to the General Fund Reserve for Contingencies to partially
offset the earlier advances which were made.

Dixon is APPROVED.
