6-THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
Adopted this Order on May 1, 1984 _, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Fanden, Schroder, Torlakson
NOES: None
ABSENT: Supervisors Powers, McPeak
ABSTAIN: None
SUBJECT: Hearing on recommendation of County Planning Commission
with respect to Rezoning Application 2587-RZ filed by
Cunha & Associates Inc. , (applicant) , Henry and Wanda
Dowrelio (owners) , to rezone land in the Crockett-Valona
area.
This being the time fixed for hearing on the recommen-
dation of the County Planning Commission with respect to rezoning
application 2587-RZ filed by Cunha & Associates Inc. , (applicant) ,
and Henry and Wanda Dowrelio (owners) to rezone 4. 99 acres of land
from Single Family Residential District (R-6) to General Agricultural
District (A-2) in the Crockett-Valona area; and
Harvey Bragdon, Assistant Director of Planning, having
described the property site and having advised that a Negative
Declaration of Environmental Significance was filed for the
proposal; and
The Chairman having opened the public hearing; and
Mr. A. Cappelletti, 1911 Dowrelio Drive, Crockett, having
appeared and inquired as to whether the applicant had plans to
construct a Trailer Court on this property, and what if any affects
this rezoning application would have on his property; and
Harvey Bragdon, Assistant Director of Planning, advised
that this project was to rezone the subject property to General
Agricultural District (A-2) , and that this was a requirement of the
Minor Subdivision for this project, and also advised that there were
no plans that he was aware of to construct a Trailer Court on this
property, and also having stated that this rezoning would not affect
Mr. Cappelleti ' s property in any way; and
The Chairman having closed the public hearing; and
Supervisor Fanden having recommended that rezoning appli-
cation 2587-RZ be approved as recommended by the County Planning
Commission.
Board members having considered the matter, IT IS ORDERED
that rezoning application 2587-RZ is APPROVED, and the Board hereby
adopts the Planning Commission' s reasons as set for in its
Resolution Number 24-1984, as its determinations for this decision.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that Ordinance Number 84-21 giving
effect to the aforesaid rezoning is INTRODUCED, reading waived and
May 15, 1984, is set for adoption of same.
