HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 04241984 - 2.5 IN THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA Re: Creating Zone A and B ) Resolution No. 84/243 County Service Area R-7 ) (Govt.C. §§25210.8 & 25210.9(a) ) The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: As a result of the recent incorporations of the Cities of Danville and San Ramon, the remainder of County Service Area No. R-7 in the unincor- porated area now consists of a number of non-contiguous portions. The two largest portions of CSA R-7 in the unincorporated area are located north of the City of Danville (the Alamo area) and east of the City of San Ramon (the Bishop Ranch area) . In order to provide more efficient administration of CSA R-7 and its programs this Board hereby takes the following actions: 1. That portion (the Alamo area) of County Service Area R-7 located in the unincorporated area north of the City of Danville and south of the City of Walnut Creek, is hereby established as Zone A of County Service Area R-7. 2. That portion (the Bishop Ranch) . of County Service Area R-7 located easterly of the City of San Ramon is hereby established as Zone B of County Service Area R-7. 3. Announces its intention to transfer from time to time monies from the available funds of County Service Area R-7 to each zone in portion to its value of real property in relation to any remaining portions of County Service Area R-7. Further, this Board proposes from time to time to transfer other funds (park dedication fees, state grants, etc. ) to these zones as it deems appropriate. 4. Finally, this Board authorizes the formation of Citizen Advisory Committees for each zone subject to its approval of appointments thereto. ZONE "B" (BISHOP RANCH AREA) Beginning at the northeast corner of the southeast 1/4 of Section 2, Township 2 South, Range 1 West, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, said point also being at an angle' point on the boundary of the City of Danville, and on the existing boundary of County service area R-7; thence leaving said City of Danville boundary, and • following along the boundary of said C.S.A. R-7, southerly, 2,400.00 feet, more or less, southwesterly, 950.00 feet more or less, southeasterly, 8,200.00 feet, more or less, to a point on the boundary line of the City of San Ramon; thence following along said City of San Ramon boundary line, southwesterly, 4,500.00 feet, more or less, northwesterly, 1,600.00 feet, more or less, southwesterly, 3,600.00 feet, more or less, northwesterly, 7,600.00 feet, more or less, northeasterly, 3,100.00 feet, more or less, and northwesterly, 1,700.00 feet, -2- 1 more or less, to a point on the southerly boundary line of the City of Danville; thence following along said City of Danville boundary line, northeasterly, 5,200.00 feet, more or less, northerly 2,800.00 feet, more or less, easterly, 1,320.00 feet, more or less, southerly, 1,200.00 feet, more or less, southeasterly, 1,300.00 feet, more or less, southerly, 800.00 feet, more or less, and easterly 2,640.00 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning.
