THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE COUNTY OF CONTRA COSTA
RESOLUTION NO. 3419
RESOLUTION REQUESTING CITY OF PITTSBURG OFFICIALS TO
OPEN SCHOOL STREET INTO THE EL PUEBLO HOUSING DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, E1 Pueblo is a housing development of 116 families located in the
City of Pittsburg, which has experienced a number of security
problems throughout its history; and,
WHEREAS, a cause of some security problems is the relative isolation of El
Pueblo from the rest of the surrounding community; and,
WHEREAS, a reduction in the isolation of E1 Pueblo from the surrounding
community would be affected by the opening of School Street into
El Pueblo:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Commissioners of the
Housing Authority of the County of Contra Costa requests the City
of Pittsburg take prompt action to open School Street into the E1
Pueblo housing development where it will intersect with Treatro
Street.
ADOPTED on April 24, 1984 by the following vote of the Commissioners:
AYES: Comanissioners Powers , Fanden, Torlakson.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Conmiissioners McPeak, Schroder.
ABSTAIN: None .
