Laying-Off Employees ) RESOLUTION NO. 84/164
The Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors in all of its capacities as the
governing body of this County and of the Districts and Agencies of which it is
the governing body, RESOLVES THAT:
1. The Board has considered the recommendations of Nu-Med, Medical Inc. , the
Health Services Department Management Contractor, relative to the organiza-
tion and staffing of the Health Services Departments Systems and data pro-
cessing operations, and has considered the staff retention plans submitted
by the Health Services Department.
2. In order to most effectively manage and staff at the level necessary for
efficient operations, it is necessary to abolish position #54-1425, Manager
of Health Information Systems, an exempt position, because the necessity
for the position involved no longer exists, and to lay off the encumbent
accordingly, effective at the close of business April 6, 1984.
3. The Director of Personnel shall prepare lists showing the layoff of the
affected employee.
4. The Health Services Director shall give notice to the affected employee of
the Board's action.
