HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 04171984 - 3.2 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY_, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Order on April 17, 1984 , by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Powers, Fanden, McPeak, Torlakson NOES: None ABSENT: Supervisor Schroder ABSTAIN: None SUBJECT: Proposed Leasing of County Property for New Construction The Board received a letter dated March 31, 1984 from Sylvia Schireck, owner of Diamond Syl' s Casino and Restaurant, located at 5816 Pacheco Boulevard, Pacheco 94553, noting that she has been leasing County property adjacent to her casino for use as a parking lot, and expressing concern with respect to a proposal that the County is in the process of leasing said property for new construction. Ms Schireck is requesting the Board to reconsider said proposal and to notify her of any decision relative to the disposition of the County property she now leases for a parking facility. IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that the aforesaid request is REFERRED to the Public Works Director.
